Happy New Year!

And let’s really hope it is a happy one! This time last year we had no idea what was in store for us, and personally, I like the anticipation of what is yet to come, however 2020 dealt several low blows and whilst conscious that it could happen, I couldn’t quite believe that the whole year was actually written off in the end. Even scarier was just how fast the time passed.

Looking ahead to the new year, a time when many of us set goals, expectations, intentions and find a renewed gusto to get out there and make things happen, personally I’m finding it a bit like wading through mud. The get up and go has got up and gone and I can only hope that once the new year really gets started that this will change.

I consider myself very fortunate in that I have been able to manage OK this past year, but know many of you have had struggles greater than my own. I sincerely hope that you are able to find a way to keep going and not to let everything get on top of you. My absolute crutch this period has been exercise, specifically walks in the outdoors. If nothing more, get yourself out into nature and it will really lift your spirits.
